Eureka opened in 1908 as the first high school in what became the Rockwood School District, and its game with Lafayette is known as the Battle of 109. The volleyball team won its first state title in 2018, the girls cross country team won its first in 2024, and girls lacrosse won state titles in 2024 and 2026.
